It’s a wedding, not a funeral, so how do you wear a little black dress to a wedding?

In general, women love wearing black to weddings; black is slimming and elegant. But when it comes to wearing black to a wedding, the trick is in how you accessorise it. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be big on accessories for you to be able to accessorise a Little Black Dress (LBD). The good news about black is that anything you choose will go with it! In this week’s blog post, and with the very same LBD, I will show you 3 ways to wear a little black dress to a wedding.

Outfit #1: Little Black Dress with Red Accessories

Be bold and add a pop of colour to your LBD, red accessories look great. There are a number of ways you can accessorise with red: you can wear red shoes or a red clutch with your LBD, you can also match your accessories with your jewellery.

Style Tip: Red is a pretty bold colour, if you wish to wear matching red jewellery choose only one statement piece. If you prefer to wear red accessories only, you can opt for gold or silver jewellery.

Outfit #2: Little Black Dress with Metallic Accessories

One of my all-time favourite colour combinations is black and gold. With metallic accessories, you can guarantee that your look will be timeless and feel confident, because you really can’t go wrong with metallic accessories.

Style Tip: Apart from gold, silver, rose gold or copper accessories will also compliment your LBD.

Outfit #3: Little Black Dress with Nude Accessories

If you really want to play it safe, as in you really want to play it safe, wear your LBD with nude accessories. For an elegant look, you can wear your little black dress with nude shoes only.

Style Tip: When it comes to jewellery, rose gold jewellery looks great with nude accessories.
